Will you be in the Toronto area on June 14th? Join scientist and broadcaster David Suzuki and celebrated author Richard Louv for an evening at the AGO to discuss the urgent need to connect kids (and grown-ups) with nature and the amazing health benefits that nature provides. The evening will include a Q&A, books signings, and will be moderated by Dr. Faisal Moola from the David Suzuki Foundation.

Aquaponics: Bridging the gap
Aquaponics is a way of growing food organically and sustainably year round for the populations of today and tomorrow and bridges the gap between aquaculture and hydroponics (growing plants in a soilless matrix). Waste from fish is food for plants and fish water from aquariums is a wonderful fertilizer but needs to be constantly filtered. April 22 marks the 22nd anniversary of Earth Day in Canada!
Various events and activities are taking place across the country next week leading up to Earth Day, making this week known as Earth Week.

Serez-vous dans la région de Toronto le 14 juin? L’aquaponie, un moyen de combler le vide
L'aquaponie est un mode de culture qui permettrait aux populations d'aujourd'hui et de demain de cultiver des aliments de façon organique et durable pendant toute l'année et fait le point entre l'aquaculture et l'hydroponie (la culture hors-sol). Le 22 avril prochain, nous célébrerons le 22e Jour de la Terre au Canada!
À l'échelle du pays, une variété d'événements et d'activités auront lieu pendant la semaine qui précède le Jour de la Terre, connue comme la Semaine de la Terre.
